Who are the Friends of Essex County CASA?
Friends of CASA is a group of caring volunteers who promote and support the vision and goals of Essex County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA staff and trained volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children and are appointed by the Essex County Family Court.
What is the Friends of CASA's goal?
Our goal is to make sure that every child in care who needs a CASA, has a CASA, and we do this by raising awareness of the CASA Program within our communities through:
Public relations,
Social media initiatives,
Helping recruit volunteer advocates,
Assisting with fundraising efforts.

We are currently recruiting Friends of CASA to assist us with our annual Golf Outing on June 4, 2012 as well as to help us with our Raffle Fundraiser. We will add more opportunities to help Essex CASA as they become available.
